There are 1074 CLT Maps that together encompass all of Sevier County.
Five (5) different Themes are available for each of the CLT Maps:
- Planimetric
- Topographic
- Cadastral (Property)
- Aerial Photo
- DTM
Therefore, a total of 5370 total map/theme Files (1074 x 5) would be needed to provide county-wide coverage for all five themes.
The Sevier County data is captured at a resolution of either 1:1200 (urban areas) or 1:4800 (rural areas). For areas mapped at 1:1200 the CLT map sheet area is 3,500' x 2,000'. For areas mapped at 1:4800 the CLT map sheet area is 14,000' x 8,000'.
Cadastral (Property) and Street Name Annotation Data
Property boundaries, dimensions and lot numbers along with street name annotation. The property attributes include the parcel id, street address, calculated acreage, owner, property type (residential, commercial, etc.), subdivision. [ Note: the dimensions and lot numbers are not in the form of an Annotation class, but are delivered as "line" feature classes. ]
Date of Data: Updated once a month to reflect recorded property transactions.
Planimetric Data
The planimetric data set contains street centerlines, street name annotation, water bodies and streams. For 1:4800 maps, building footprints and edge of pavement features are availabe. Note: Street Centerlines do not have attribute information.
Date of Data: March 2004
Topographic Data
The topographic data set includes 2ft contours, 4ft contours, 10ft contours, 20 ft contours, and 100ft contours for map sheets that are 1:1200 and 10ft contours, 20ft contours, and 100ft contours for map sheets that are1:4800. The topographic data was created from the Tennessee Base Mapping DTM data.
Date of Data: March 2004
Digital Terrain Model (DTM)
The DTMs are in Microstation version SE (DGN) file format, which uses a series of attributes that define values for levels, line styles, colors, and weights to identify features. Generation of the DTMs is captured at 1:30,000 scale photography and 1:7,500 nominal scale photography. Mass points describe all tops, bottoms, and areas where break lines are not more than one inch apart at map scale.
Date of Data: March 2004
Digital Orthophotography
Orthophotography is 2 ft by 2 ft ground pixel resolution for 1:1200 scale areas, OR .5 ft by .5 ft ground pixel resolution for 1:4800 scale areas. The orthophotography is in TIFF 8 bit grayscale format.
Date of Data: March 2004
GIS DATA FORMAT:
Except where specifically noted, the data is in ESRI geodatabase or Shapefile format, but can be converted to AutoCAD DWG or DXF of MicroStation ($20 per map conversion fee).
