Owner Card Reports in the KGIS website (from both the main website as well as KnoxNetWhere) now include a link to Knox County's Register of Deeds Imaging System. This will give you access to both owner and parcel documents that have been scanned into the system. Below is a quick tutorial on how to access these documents.
Open the main KGIS website - www.kgis.org and select: Online Data | Owner Card from the main menu:

Enter an address, parcel id, or owner name to find the parcel you are interested in. Once you have located the parcel click the Parcel ID to access the Owner Card Report:

The Owner Card Report is linked to two different types of documents - owner documents and parcel documents. Owner documents can be accessed by clicking the hyperlink found in the "Book" section. Parcel documents can be accessed by clicking the link in the "Plat" section. Not all parcel documents are available at this time. Parcel documents that do not have an Instrument Number can not currently be located through these links.

Links have also be provided within the KnoxNetWhere mapping site. Address, Parcel, and Owner searches now contain links with the search results page.

For the links to the Register's imaging system to work correctly you will need to configure a viewing application. All images are stored as multi-page TIF images. Unfortunately, browsers will not display this type of file type without a plug-in application. Many 3rd-party applications are available as well as Microsoft's "Microsoft Office Document Imaging" Software. It is important that the TIF viewer be able to see multi-page TIF images.
