Knox net Where? is a fully functional internet mapping system. It allows users to search the system for property owners, addresses, street intersections, parcels, schools, and parks. Users can view the attribute information, print maps, and run reports. The website data is updated from the live Knoxville/Knox County GIS data every two weeks.
Mapping themes: the Knox net Where? site was designed mostly for parcel data. However, in addition to the Base Theme (which focuses on parcel data) it contains several other mapping themes which focus on aerial photography, parks and greenways, political districts, school zones, zoning and more.
Data Currency: Data both graphic and attribution is updated from the "live" KGIS database every two weeks. Attribute information should have a "last update" date shown in the heading. This date represents the last time the data was translated from the live system to the web site.
