KGIS welcomes its new Policy Board member - Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs! Mayor Jacobs becomes the fifth Knox County leader to serve on the Board of KGIS since it was founded 33 years ago. Knox County Executive Dwight Kessel helped to establish KGIS in 1985. He was then succeeded by Executive Tommy Schumpert, then Mayor Mike Ragsdale and then most recently by Mayor Tim Burchett. Welcome Aboard Mayor Jacobs!
