Mr. Bolas becomes only the fourth Knoxville Utilities Board leader to serve on the Board of KGIS since it was founded 33 years ago. KUB General Manager Ed Hoskins helped to establish KGIS in 1985. He was followed by Mr. Larry Fleming in 1993, and Ms. Mintha Roach in 2004. Mr. Bolas replaced the retiring Ms. Roach at the October 2018 KUB board meeting. (Click here for more information).
