Webinar: How the State’s GIS Data Can Serve Your County

The State of Tennessee’s Strategic Technology Solutions GIS Services group is the front runner in mapping projects covering Tennessee. The purpose of this webinar will be to inform TN County leaders about the cost saving datasets made available to local governments. A statewide elevation data project and mapping imagery products will be highlighted with examples on how they can benefit your county.
The data has various use cases and is applicable to Planning and Zoning, Property/Site Development, Highway Departments, GIS Departments, Utilities, Emergency Response/Services, and many more.
This presentation will be given by Paul Dudley, a GIS Analyst with the State of Tennessee STS-GIS Services group who helps support various data programs. He is a graduate of UT Knoxville’s Geography Department and has 11 years of experience in the private and public sectors.
The Strategic Technology Solutions Office houses and manages the state's extensive portfolio of Geographic Information Systems data. There are a number of different applications at the county level that could benefit from this data. You are welcome to pass this invitation on to staff people or department heads in your county who might benefit from this training.
