Soil Types and 1935 Aerials have been added to KGIS Maps

The Soils Types and 1935 Aerails have been added to KGIS Maps.
To change to the Soil Types map, click here or click on Maps tab in upper left of KGIS Maps, then expand Other maps, and then click on the Soil Types.
To change to the 1935 Aerials map, click here or click on Maps tab in upper left of KGIS Maps, then expand Historical Aerials, and then click on the 1935 Aerials.

KGIS Day Event draws approx 300 attendees - Monday, November 28, 2005

KGIS's 20th Anniversary Event was not only well-attended, but it was also an excellent showcase of the various ways that our respective departments are using GIS technology. Chris Halcomb and the Event Planning Committee did a wonderful job of pulling all the details together to make for a smooth operation. And Dwight Kessel's "KGIS Champion" remarks made note of the "spirit of cooperation" that led to KGIS's initial founding. KGIS Day 20 Years Brochure.
